A Charity School?
A Charity School is reputed to have been held in this
building as early as 15th century. There were 11 boys as pupils. The
Headmaster in 1669 was Robert Hall, who was also Curate of St
Mary’s Chapel in Colnbrook. The school closed sometime in the
eighteenth century.
