Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Museum. There are a number of different volunteer roles on offer at the Museum, however, our main need is for people to greet visitors and ensure they get the most from their visit. This includes answering queries on the local area and Slough’s history, helping visitors use our collections database and reference library, selling items from the Museum shop and keeping the Museum tidy. If you enjoy meeting new people, have an interest in Slough’s history and can spare a few hours each month why not get in touch. To download an application form please click here
