Elliman's
Today
Elliman's Embrocation is
still made today by Beechams. After the
death of James Elliman Senior in 1924 the company continued to make the
embrocation until 1961 when it was taken over by Horlicks.

Instructions explianing "How Ellimans Relieves Pain arising from
Rheumatism, Fibrositis, Lumbago, Sciatica, Sprains and Strains,
Bruises, Stiffness, Cramp and Chilblains.
Beechams then took over
Horlicks in 1970 and so continue to make the medicine today. The type
of packaging and advertising images have changed over the years but the
medicine remains the same as James Elliman's family recipe started all
those years ago in 1847.
